April

We went on a lot of trips in April.

We started in Laguna Niguel to visit our cousins.

Beach days are the best days.

Then we drove up to Yosemite to visit Doug and Rebecca and see their cabin.

What would I do without this little helper? One of her favorite pastimes is watching cooking videos on my Allrecipes app. There's just something so satisfying about watching food being prepared.

"Mom!" she says, "Why didn't you tell me it wath unicorn day at pre-thcool? You alwayth forget to tell me thtuff. You're a monthster! You're a zombie!!"

I respond with logic. "If I was a zombie, I'd be eating your brains right now."

"No mom. Zombies like to keep it a secret, and that's what you're doing. Thometimes zombies get full. And you're full becauthe you've been eating everybody's brains."
Abigail got baptized. I love getting the cousins together.

Edmond got his canine teeth pulled. We're trying to make room for his big teeth that are coming in.

The Easter party is so great.

 Happy Easter from Annabelle.

I love it when Scarlett picks me flowers and leaves me notes.

Spring in Utah is pretty perfect.

I will follow this girl anywhere.

Charlie is in baseball. They took first place.

Last year we went on a vacation to escape our children, and we came home with one more. Gotta love her. Hecho en Mexico.

Greetings from Las Vegas! B and I lived in Vegas for two years before we had any kids. This trip we've been taking the kids to our favorite restaurants, driving by our old house, and exposing them to all the sights on the strip. Everywhere we go, we are the center of attention with our family of 7. Last night at dinner a woman approached me and said that she and her friends had been watching us and it's beautiful to see our family interact, the way the kids help each other, and the way that we take care of the kids. Her kind words boosted my spirits, because vacations with kids are always a bit stressful, trying not to lose them and making sure nobody drowns. I'm so happy being a Mom, so in love with my husband, and so content with my life.
