October 2020

Fall is my favorite. I love the clothes, the food, the vibrant colors, the fresh air. Fall please stay a while.

We went up to the American Heritage center in Wellsville. There was a spook alley and cousins.

The Little Rock Ghost Town is still going strong.

The boys found this huge frog on our family rock and needed me to take a picture.

We love our neighborhood. The kids had a little Halloween parade that they put together on their own.

Juliette got her cast off!

Edmond 7th grade
There were some years that we tried to have children and couldn't. After lots of prayers and some fertility treatments, Heavenly Father sent us Edmond. No one was more gratefully received than this dear boy. He is my right hand man, my best helper, my responsible son. Watching him care for his younger siblings is a thing of beauty. I will never stop thanking God for Edmond.

Charlie 5th grade
This boy right here is the best Christmas present I ever received. Born on Christmas morning, he is full of Christ-like love and goodness. He is patient and cuddly and smart. I had a dream recently that he was lost, and I didn't stop calling his name and searching until I found him. When I found him I scooped that 10-year-old boy up onton my lap and held him close. He is a special gift, and I want Charlie to be near me always.

Scarlett 3rd grade
I never have to search very hard on my phone to find pictures of Scarlett. Images of her are everywhere...in my dreams at night, in my mind throughout the day and her selfies on my phone. She takes good care of me and everyone around her. Her laugh is silly and fun. She loves animals. She has many strengths that I admire. I am blessed to be her mother.

Juliette 1st Grade
I am thankful for Juliette. Juliette is high energy, an easy laugher, a loving friend, a devoted daughter, and a nurturing sister. She makes me laugh ever day, because she is hilarious. Today as we were peeling pomegranates, she said, "Mom, we're good at working together. That's why it's too bad you're older than me. I'm going to miss you when you die." Dead or alive, I'll never stop watching over my Juliette.

Annabelle wore this costume for about 2 seconds.
Being back in the baby zone with Annabelle the past year and a half has been such a blessing. Everything is new and silly and interesting when Annabelle is near. I enjoy watching her grow and learn. I love learning new things about her personality and getting to know her. She is our special girl and truly a blessing from heaven.

Charlie was an archer, from one of the books he's been reading.

Edmond was that arrow-slinging guy from the Marvel movies. Juliette was a witch.
