A Day at the Pool

We took Edmond down to our pool today, it was over 100 degrees and the pool felt sooo good. It was Edmond's first time getting in, and apparently ours too, based on the fact that our skin is as white as his.

I have fulfilled one of my life-long dreams....becoming a pool mom.

This picture was taken moments before one of the kids accidentally splashed Eddie in the face and he started screaming.

After a long day of swimming and crying, Edmond likes to sleep.

Eddie's smiles

We took Edmond to the pool last night. He had fun watching all of Jenn's kids swim. She sat and talked to Edmond and he gave her lots of good smiles.

Tahoe

Last weekend we went up to Tahoe. We met up with our friends Jason and Amanda from Utah. We stayed in a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo near the lake. We spent our evenings watching movies by the fire, and we spent our days visiting Truckee, going out to eat, checking out Emerald Bay, and hiking. We had a fabulous time and Edmond fell asleep every time we got in the car which made life easy. Here we are on one of the many piers at Lake Tahoe.

These are our amigos, Jason and Amanda.

Edmond doesn't like his stroller as much as his car seat, which is a bummer since his stroller costs three times as much. Lesson learned. We will never again invest in a fancy schmancy stroller...although I do like this one because I can go running with it.

We found the Rubicon Trail, which is supposed to be one of the more popular jeeping trails. We ventured down the trail, but after a while the snow was too deep and we weren't able to finish. B had a great time using his 4 wheel drive.

Here we are in front of the Rubicon. Edmond slept through the whole thing.

Edmond snores sometimes and it's funny.

Such a hard life.

This was a beautiful sunset we saw out our living room window.
