This girl got hit in the head with a rock by her 6-year-old cousin and had to go get stitches.

Strawberry Reservoire
We went boating with Bret and Andrea. It was a perfect day.
These two girls look alike.
Later that week I had Edmond write me a paragraph explaining what his favorite thing he did this summer was. This is what he wrote.

Golf, Swim Team, and all sorts of other stuff we're doing
Look at these cute little golfers! I've been signing my kids up for all sorts of extracurricular activities lately. Mostly because in this small town it's the only thing to do.
Edmond is the sweetest big brother. He is always pushing Juliette around on the longboard. I'm so proud of him!
Swim team has been great for these kids. This is the boys' second year doing it and Scarlett's first. She is the youngest kid on her team. They swim every morning Monday through Friday from 8am to 9:30am. Sometimes its hard to get them out of bed, but I think it builds character for them. Nothing is harder than getting into a cold pool at 8 in the morning.
Adley our neighbor takes turns playing with Scarlett or Juliette. They are always dressing up and being girly.
B goes fishing in the evening sometimes. He'll usually take one of the kids...whoever wants to go. Here's a whopper that Charlie caught.
Juliette runs around the pool during swim team every morning, trying to get in. She wishes so bad that she was on the team too.
Juliette gets in the pantry like this every day.
Summer crafts! We've been sculpting and baking clay, then painting it.
Edmond found his store.
Here's my Dad, taking a beating from my kids.
Little Juliette loves her doggies.
My sister Charlene's kids came to stay with us for a few days. Edmond taught Lance how to ride a bike while they were here! He spent about 45 minutes walking Lance around the neighborhood on this bike, and letting go and then walking him again. Eventually Lance got it on his own. I was so proud of my Edmond for taking the time to do that.
B taught Halle how to ride a bike while they were here too.
And little Capri just scooted around on one of our plasma cars. Cute kids.
B took Halle fishing one evening.
Our friends invited us over to play in the river one evening.
This is Scarlett and Quintin. She loves him. "Mom, I'm trying hard not to fall in love with Quintin, but I just am."
4th of July fireworks in Rupert with cousin Spencer.
We've been looking at homes to buy. While we're looking my kids like to pick a spot and sit down and say, "Mom, take our picture!"
Chickens!!! These were at my brother Brian's house.
I caught this girl biting the tops off all the muffins.
B is transferring down to the Ogden office in Utah. For now he is training in SLC. This was the view from his window.
Decisions, decisions.
Neighborhood bike gang!!!
I had a Visitors Center mission reunion. I love all these people! It felt so good to be with these kindred spirits and know that I belong to this "family".
We were able to meet up with our long lost besties, Chad and Megan and their cute kids. They played together like they had never been apart. We told Chad and Megan that next year we want them to move to Utah with us.
This kid immediately dropped her icecream cone on the ground after I gave it to her. I fed it to her anyway. 4th kid.
Juliette love to sit on the sidelines at swim team and give the kids "thumbs up".
