The Projects

Edmond wrote this story and brought it for show and tell. The thing on the left is the octopus that he drew and cut out. The shark on the right I drew. He dictated the story and I wrote it down.

Some cheerio art.

Edmond drew a picture of him and Charlie.

Ghosts and UPS trucks...our favorite things.

 First fire of the year
 First rain of the fall

Sometimes we go to B's work and play at the fountain and eat lunch with him.

Girls night. Yay.

Train ride

The boys stack up the pillows and say they are riding airplanes.

Poor orphan baby.

Scarlett at her cousin's birthday party.

Smooth hair with Morrocan Oil. Have you tried it yet?

The Patch

Good times at the pumpkin patch. Love it.

Apple Hill and stuff

Scarlett is almost one. She loves to sneak off and find some toilet in our house with the lid up. When she hears me coming and yelling at her, "No! Scarlett, no!" she gets all excited and stomps her little feet and splashes faster until I come scoop her up and rinse her off.

She can go up and down the stairs, but I don't like it. She loves to say, "No, no, no!" and sit at the top of the stairs and say it over and over, since that's what I always say to her when she goes near the stairs. In fact, she'll say "No" to every question I ask her.

When I get her out of bed I say, "Did you wake up?"
"No."
When I pull her out of her high chair, "Are you all done?"
"No."
As she swings her toothbrush around, "Is that your toy?"
"No."

She mimics me a lot. Especially when I'm mad at the boys. When they were wrestling once I told them, "Stop!" and then she looked at me, then at them, and yelled "Top!"
Charlie is potty trained. He hasn't had an accident in a month. We're so proud. He takes himself to the bathroom all by himself, only problem is he can't put his pants on all by himself afterwards, so he'll just leave them off and then he'll show up half naked when we have company.

He's talking a lot these days.

And Apple Hill, it was awesome, as usual. We rode some pony's and fed some ducks, rode some tractors, ate some donuts. Same old same old.
